The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Friday, April 24 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) isn’t about to give up on her dream.
Also coming up, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will threaten Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Noah Newman (Lucas Adams). Plus, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will implore Riza Thomson (Tina Casciani). And Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will expect Phyllis to comply.
Y&R spoilers tease Phyllis will start berating the portrait of herself in her office. “I will never, never give up, ever!” she’ll say. “Well I’ll be damned,” Victor will quip, as he and Victoria walk in. “We’re offering you a deal, one you shouldn’t refuse,” Victoria will say. “Because it’ll be the last chance for you to get out of this trouble that you’re in.”

Phyllis will remind Victor he’s already double-crossed her twice. So, she’s not making any deal. Victoria will say if she doesn’t, they’ll be turning over evidence against her to the new district attorney. “Christine Blair, she’ll be replacing the current DA,” she’ll add. “You’ll be facing some pretty serious criminal charges.”
But Phyllis will say they have no evidence, it’s obviously fake and they’ll have to prove it in court. She’ll ask to see it and Victoria will hand her a folder filled with printed emails. “None of these emails happened,” Phyllis will say. Then Victor and Victoria will bring in former Newman division heads who are prepared to testify against her.
But Phyllis will push back and call their bluff. “Put all of this evidence together, let’s see how it plays out in court.” Victor will tell Phyllis to have the transfer papers drawn up by the end of the day and they’ll all walk out. Lauren Fenmore (Tracy E. Bregman) will show up and Phyllis will show her the emails.
Lauren will say no one’s going to believe it. “The new DA’s going to believe it,” Phyllis will reply. She’ll tell Lauren The Bug is about to be appointed DA. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will walk in and tell Phyllis it doesn’t look good for her.
“There’s a good chance Cane and Billy will be subpoenaed, and you can’t look for them to protect you after what you did to them,” Michael will add. “If Christine offers either one of them a deal to testify against you, I doubt they will turn it down.” Michael will tell his friend she could end up behind bars. “I’m not accepting defeat, I’m fighting,” Phyllis will say. “There’s no way in hell I’m giving this up.”
At the abandoned gas station outside Vegas, Noah will try to overpower Matt, until he pulls out a gun. Matt will tell them to get out of the car. Noah will ask what he’s going to do. “I’m not going to reveal the surprise ahead of time,” he’ll reply. They’ll walk inside the abandoned gas station and Sharon will say if he hurts them, Nick will hunt him down.

Meanwhile, Nick will offer Riza half a million dollars for information on Matt. “For all that we have been through, before and now, please tell us what we need to know,” Adam will plead. Riza will ask if he’s starting to remember all they’ve been through and Adam will say it’s coming back to him.
She’ll say that makes his betrayal sting even more. But Riza will agree to help them nonetheless, as long as she gets the money first. However, Adam will say they need the information first. So she’ll tell them about the abandoned gas station that Matt uses to store his inventory. “He wanted me to tell you that’s where he was,” Riza will add.
Adam will say it sounds like a trap. Nick will figure out Matt has lured Sharon and Noah there. Riza will call Matt and say they didn’t take the bait. “Spider and his brother are heading to Genoa City.” Matt will say she better not be lying to him. Then he’ll turn to Sharon and say her knight in shining armor isn’t coming. “Now it’s just the three of us!”
Matt will remind Noah he pretended to be his friend and then slept with his wife and he’ll apologize. Then Noah will ask Matt to let Sharon go. But he’s not about to do that. Matt will say he’s going to kill one of them in front of the other.
Finally, Nick will drive he and Adam to the abandoned gas station. Adam will notice Nick is jumpy. “You’ve been a mess since you got to Vegas, haven’t you?” he’ll ask his brother. But Nick will say they need to focus on finding Matt and putting an end to this nightmare.
